Inspired in equal parts by the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Jim Henson, Marina & The Cryptids is a new work of children's theatre featuring a colourful cast of puppet creatures such as the Goon, the Oaf, the Snob and the Brat.
The show tells the story of a young girl who gets lost in the woods and has to find her way out with the help of the bizarre cryptids that dwell within.
A workshop presentation of Marina & The Cryptids premiered at the Palmerston Library Theatre on October 24th, 2018.
