A homeless youth sets off in search of a lost neighbourhood, where rent is cheap and jobs are easy to come by. His journey takes him through an abandoned subway tunnel and into the urban wilderness deep underground. It isn't long before he's fighting for his life against a pack of ravenous rats, a conniving crow and a malnourished monster. 

 

Silent Protagonist's inaugural show, Or Be Eaten premiered at the 2013 Toronto Fringe Festival. The original cast was as follows:
